Rm 23-Mobile Infants: Ms. Bertha & Mrs. Rosa
Hi, I'm Bertha Luna, the lead teacher in room 23. I have been with St. Andrew's since October of 2012 and truly love working with children. I previously worked at Brighton Center for 3 years and PCI for 3 years. I earned my Childhood Development Associate credential from St. Phillip's College. I am currently continuing my education in Early Childhood working towards an AA.
I have been caring for children since I was 14 years old. I find children are so much easier and fun to be around. I love watching them grow, learn, and helping them along the way. I want the children in my care to develop as a "whole child" and work towards their independence.
I have three children-Joel, Gabriella and Frankie. We enjoy spending time together as a family and are looking forward to a new chapter with our family.
My name is Rosa Calderon. I am a mother of two sons, and grandmom to two grandchildren. I was born and raised here in San Antonio. I have five sisters and two brothers. I graduated from Blessed Sacrament Academy in 1976. At the age of 25, I started teaching Sunday School classes. This is my first year here at St. Andrew's and I look forward to working with everybody.
